[19:57:37] <+Paladin> "Then they must not be here." Paladin says matter-of-factly.
[19:58:25] <+James> "Could be, Master Shaw.  If so I guess they expect us to move out and will find us on the trail."

[20:05:19] * +T_Shaw puts away his Star Sword
[20:05:31] <+T_Shaw> "Good morning, Master Alec."
[20:05:32] <+Bredock> "Hello" ::bows::
[20:05:51] <+James> "Alec, Ambria, are you okay?  What's the news?"
[20:06:08] <.Bynw> *Alec* "Put these on" *he says while tossing a bundle from his saddle bags* "and mount up"
[20:06:44] * +James goes over to the bundle and sees what it is.
[20:06:53] * +Bredock goes to the bundle and picks up whatever it is
[20:06:53] <+Paladin> (back)
[20:07:13] <.Bynw> *the bundle consits of Uthani uniforms
[20:07:25] * +Paladin allows the others to examine the bundle.. looking on.
[20:07:34] * +James finds one of his approximate size and dons it.
[20:07:35] <+T_Shaw> "Ah. Subterfuge."
[20:07:42] * +Paladin grins again.
[20:07:44] * +T_Shaw walks over and grabs one of the uniforms.
[20:07:49] * +Bredock finds one the fits him well and puts it on
[20:08:01] <+Paladin> "Toss me one of those sheep-skins."
[20:08:15] <.Bynw> *Alec* "Only Master Shaw speaks Valmari correct?"
[20:08:40] <+James> "I've never learned it."
[20:08:58] <+T_Shaw> "That is correct, Master Alec."
[20:09:29] * +Paladin dons the garb of a Uthani military man.
[20:10:09] <.Bynw> *Alec* "Nym attempted a working last night. Fortunately he asked me to monitor for him, something went wrong ... I don't even know if he was successful or not. But he's in a bad way and hasn't recovered yet."
[20:10:30] <+Paladin> "Whats the plan, Alec.. and will Nym be alright?"
[20:10:45] <+James> ??Was that a general Send, or just to Shaw??
[20:11:41] <.Bynw> "However we did learn that the Uthani made it to the village last night. It's called Upper Stone Crest and pro to the old ways."

[20:11:58] <+James> ((Oops, I misread the annotation))
[20:12:17] <+James> "Where is Nym?"
[20:13:17] * +Paladin nods at Alec's words.. but remains silent.
[20:15:16] <.Bynw> *Alec looks to James* "He's safe." *then continues* "The Uthani troops left the village this morning, with 60 some more men conscripts and volunteers from the village."
[20:16:23] <+James> "Did they get a new supply wagon in the village?"
[20:17:55] <.Bynw> "All their supply problems have been eliminated" *he looks around to make sure everyone is suited up into the uniforms*
[20:18:07] * +James is suited.
[20:18:31] * DarkSeren has joined #Teara-Adan
[20:18:37] <+Paladin> "Does that mean you have cut off their supplies.. or that they are fully armed, Alec?"
[20:18:41] * +Bredock is all geared up
[20:18:43] * +T_Shaw puts on the Uthani uniform.
[20:19:13] <.Bynw> *Alec* "It means they are a better equiped than we are"
[20:19:26] * +Paladin staightens out his Uthani uniform ...
[20:19:37] <+Paladin> "Then we are in for a helluva fight."
[20:20:46] * +James stuffs his usual clothes in a saddlebag.
[20:21:01] * +Paladin makes a clicking noise within his jaw.. and goes over to to his horse to get ready to depart.
[20:21:32] * +Bredock saddles up
[20:21:45] * +T_Shaw mounts up
[20:22:23] <.Bynw> "We are going to Upper Stone Crest, and will be there before midday. Some there may speak Cana the rest will speak Valmari. Let myself or Master Shaw do the talking only. "*He gives Shaw a grin and tosses him some insignia to pin onto his uniform*
[20:22:29] * +Paladin makes sure his long-arms are hidden behind his saddle-bags, but available for action. He then mounts his steed.

[20:24:03] <+Paladin> "Aye, Alec.. no problem. I dont want to talk to them anyways."

[20:25:54] <.Bynw> *Alec to Shaw* "I am making you my 2nd, because you are Anadari and you speak Valmari." *he turns sharply to Paladin* "We are not attacking anyone at the village."
[20:26:17] <+Paladin> "That goes without saying, Alec."
[20:26:32] <+Paladin> "I mean the scum Utha."
[20:26:43] * +T_Shaw nods at Alec
[20:27:06] <+James> "I'm ready."
[20:28:24] <+Paladin> "Whats your plan, then, Alec?"

[20:30:46] <Sutekh> (All this faith in Alec and he hasnt even stated a plan .)

[20:32:31] * +T_Shaw spurs my horse on to try to keep pace
[20:33:07] <.Bynw> *Alec* "We are supplying ourselves at the village then moving along as the 'rear guard' of the main force."
[20:33:25] * +Paladin shakes his head in a bit of frustration, and gallops off after the others.
[20:33:43] * +Paladin nods to Alec..
[20:33:59] <+Paladin> "So, will we take them out from behind?"
[20:34:55] <+James> "No, Paladin, they have to arrive at the pool first."
[20:34:58] * +Bredock going with the rest
[20:35:08] <+Bredock> ((is is in there))
[20:35:41] * +Paladin looks at James as we all race along..
[20:36:02] <+Paladin> "Aye, James.. but at some point we are going to have to make a move."
[20:36:42] <+James> At some point we will . . . and I just hope it's the right one and in time . . . "
[20:37:17] * +Paladin nods at James, and spurs his horse on faster.
[20:37:20] <.Bynw> *the ride to the village is swift and Alec keeps a fast pace, but does allow the horse to keep up with him
[20:38:08] <+T_Shaw> "Have faith, James. We will be fine."
[20:39:09] <.Bynw> *as the party rides into the village they can see a large stone structure in the square ... it lays flat but it looks like it once belong on the side of a large building
[20:40:22] * +Paladin keeps his eyes peeled, and his mouth shut as he and the others ride into the village.
[20:40:33] <.Bynw> *they are met by a few riders, wielding spears and with crossbows at their sides. they do relax as they see the uniforms and converse with Alec*
[20:43:06] * +Paladin looks at Breddock, Shaw, and James with eyes made into slits.
[20:44:25] * +T_Shaw stiffening up in the saddle to try to look more authoritative
[20:45:19] <.Bynw> *the villgers point the party into the directions of a stable and Alec nods to them and rides in that direction
[20:45:40] * +Paladin follows Alec.
[20:45:51] * +James follows.
[20:46:15] * +T_Shaw follows
[20:47:21] <.Bynw> *once inside the stables Alec dismounts and looks around a bit and gathers the party together
[20:48:02] * +Bredock dismounts
[20:48:22] * +Paladin turns his head from side to side to crack his neck as he waits for Alec to speak.
[20:48:30] * +T_Shaw dismounts and walks over to Alec
[20:49:01] <.Bynw> *whispered* "We dont have much time. But we can rest the horses and water the horses for a bit and then we mount back up. I have told them that you have been conscripted from other areas but don't talk anyway."
[20:49:29] * +James nods
[20:49:32] <+Paladin> *whispers* "aye"
[20:49:35] * +T_Shaw nods.
[20:50:10] * +Bredock nods
[20:50:50] <+Paladin> *whispers* "what do we do in the mean time?"
[20:51:29] <+T_Shaw> :: whispers :: "Be as quiet as possible."
[20:51:38] * +James waters the horses.
[20:51:42] <.Bynw> "rest and take care of the horses. Shaw and I will scout out the village for any supplies we might need."
[20:51:49] <+Paladin> *whispers* "we cant just hide here.. it would be suspicious."
[20:54:28] * +Bredock whispers "What do you think we should do?"
[20:54:32] <+Paladin> "we should at least find a table at the back of the inn, and try to be as innocuous as possible."
[20:54:53] <+Bredock> "Sounds fine to me."
[20:55:09] <.Bynw> *alec turns to leave* "you aren't hiding, you are caring for your mounts cavalier"
[20:55:22] * +Paladin looks at the others...
[20:55:27] <+James> *whispers* "We're not hiding.  We've been commanded by our officers to care for the horses while they're away."
[20:55:33] <+Bredock> "That sounds better."
[20:55:34] <+Paladin> "very well, Alec."
[20:56:20] * +Paladin nods, and goes about tending to his animal.
[20:56:45] <+T_Shaw> "Aye. That will leave Master Alec and I free if need be."
[20:57:14] <.Bynw> *Alec turns to Shaw and switches to Valimari* "Let's go"
[20:57:44] <+T_Shaw> :: switches to Valimari :: "Aye."
[20:57:54] <.Bynw> ? what does anyone do when a stable hand or two enter and make sure there are fresh oats and grains for the horse
[20:58:51] * +Bredock makes himself look important by tending to the horses
[20:59:07] <+Paladin> !! I will say nothing to them, only stare arrogantly and wait for them to leave. !!
[20:59:34] * +James goes off to haul water so he'll be elsewhere in the stable while they're there.
[21:04:33] <.Bynw> !! over an hour has passed ... and others have come and went from the stables
[21:05:38] * +Paladin looks about the stables for any sorts of new equipment he can trade out for his mount, such as a new saddle-blanket or such.
[21:06:06] <.Bynw> !! easily found
[21:06:30] * +Paladin upgrades his steed's equipment with new materials.
[21:06:47] <.Bynw> *the sounds of Alec, Shaw and another's voice can be heard .. all conversing in Valmari as they enter the stable
[21:07:01] * +Paladin turns to look at them ....
[21:07:17] * +James looks hardworking and busy.
[21:07:37] * +Paladin clicks his boots together, and salutes.
[21:08:14] * +T_Shaw returns Paladin's salute
[21:08:33] * +Paladin drops the salute, and goes back to brushing down his horse.
[21:08:52] * +Bredock is still doing his "important" work
[21:09:17] <.Bynw> *Alec continues to speak with the other man for a while and then shakes his hand and he departs leaving the party alone once more*
[21:09:42] <+T_Shaw> :: in a deep, gruff voice :: "Discipline in the ranks is still a problem, but not for much longer."
[21:09:45] * +Paladin looks out of the corner of his eye at Alec and Shaw.
[21:10:42] <+Bredock> ((thats in Cana right?))
[21:10:50] <+T_Shaw> (( No. Valimari. ))
[21:11:29] * +Paladin says the last word that he heard Shaw say to Alec when they originally left the stables. (In Valimari). "Aye"
[21:12:27] * +T_Shaw walking over to my horse and giving it a once-over.
[21:13:47] * +Paladin turns around to look and see if we are actually alone.
[21:13:51] <.Bynw> *The man returns shortly leading a pack horse that has been fitted and Alec again speaks to him, and turns to the others as he mounts up himself in silence taking the lead for the packhorse*
[21:14:36] <+T_Shaw> :: speaking in Valimari :: "You soldiers, mount up!"
[21:14:50] * +T_Shaw mounts his horse and motions for the others to follow suit.
[21:14:54] * +James gets the idea and mounts.
[21:14:56] * +Bredock mounts
[21:15:05] * +Paladin frowns a bit at Shaw... but mounts up as the others are doing.
[21:15:49] <+Paladin> (in Valimari) "Aye"
[21:17:04] <.Bynw> *the man watches as Alec and the troops leave the stables and head out of the village.
[21:17:13] <.Bynw> *Alec passes the lead of the pack horse to James
[21:17:23] * +James accepts the lead.
[21:18:57] <.Bynw> *once out of the village Alec sets a nice trot pace so that the packhorse is able to keep going without tiring too quickly
[21:19:29] <.Bynw> *Alec in Cana* "We need to find a place to camp tonight ... before the sun sets"
[21:20:00] <+Paladin> "I hope I used that word correctly" He says to Shaw.
[21:20:17] <+T_Shaw> "Paladin, you did fine." :: smiles and nods ::
[21:20:29] <+James> "Preferably out of sight so we don;t get discovered by any real read guard the Uthani have."
[21:20:31] <+Paladin> "It means 'yes', doesnt it?"
[21:20:58] <+T_Shaw> "Yes it does."
[21:21:26] <+Paladin> "It might come in handy, later on.." :: Paladin grins at Shaw ::
[21:22:19] <.Bynw> "Alec we have work to do once we make camp" *he says as he moves off the road abit and into the wilderness*
[21:22:29] <+Paladin> "How do you say 'no' in Valimari, Shaw?"

[21:24:51] <.Bynw> *by late afternoon Alec has found a spot that he likes for the camp and dismounts* "This will do. Let's clear the area .. around this spot for about 10 yards in all directions."
[21:25:01] <+T_Shaw> "What do you think, Paladin?" :: laughs ::
[21:25:16] <+Paladin> "I see your point, Shaw."
[21:25:24] * +James dismounts and gets to work clearing the area.
[21:25:35] * +T_Shaw dismounts and helps clear the area.
[21:25:43] * +Paladin laughs at the mind-set of the Utha.
[21:26:13] * +Bredock follows suit
[21:26:16] * +Paladin dismounts as well..
[21:26:28] <+Paladin> "whos hungry?"
[21:27:20] <+James> "I'm getting a bit hungry, but let's finish clearing this are first."
[21:27:24] <.Bynw> *Alec* " Bredock. You and Paladin setup the camp. Master Shaw you can walk a Circle around the cleared area for a ritual working." *he turns to Paladin* "No eating yet"

[21:27:45] <+T_Shaw> :: starts walking the circle as instructed ::
[21:27:52] <+Paladin> "Fine.. as you wish..."
[21:27:57] * +Bredock starts to setup camp with Paladin
[21:28:12] * +Paladin helps Breddock set camp.
[21:28:21] * +James tends to the horses, as he's not been assigned a duty.

[21:29:07] <+James> "Do you need any supplies for the ritual, Master Alec?"
[21:29:53] <.Bynw> *Alec helps attend a number of duties in setting up the camp.* "I have everything with me already that will be needed in my saddlebags" *he says while placing them well within the center of the camp*
[21:30:28] * +James nods and helps with setting up once the horses have been attended to.
[21:30:33] <.Bynw> *After Shaw has finished the Circle, Alec calls everyone over to him.*
[21:30:57] * +James goes over to Alec.
[21:30:58] * +T_Shaw walks over to Alec.
[21:31:04] <+T_Shaw> "All done, Master Alec."
[21:31:06] <+Paladin> "yes, Alec?"
[21:31:51] * +Bredock finishes up and walks to Alec
[21:31:58] * +Paladin rolls down his sleaves...
[21:33:04] <.Bynw> " Bredock. We need you to guard our backs. Take a sword and whatever else you need and stand over by that oak tree there." *he points to one just outside of the cleared area*
[21:34:17] * +Bredock takes his swords and guards that oak tree
[21:34:33] <+Paladin> (lol)
[21:35:48] <+Paladin> "At least you have a place to use the bathroom, Bredock"
[21:36:00] * +Paladin winks at Bredock
[21:36:08] <.Bynw> *Alec turns to the others* "Master Shaw you will be the South, James will be the West, Paladin will be the North. And I shall take the East."
[21:36:17] * +Bredock laughs a little as he walks off
[21:36:45] * +James goes to the western side of the circle, staying inside it.
[21:36:55] * +T_Shaw walks to the Southern station
[21:36:59] * +Paladin takes on a serious demenor, as Alec gives instructions.
[21:37:08] <+Paladin> "Alright, Alec."
[21:37:39] <.Bynw> *Alec* "Make sure you are open to me, as I will give you a mental nudge when it is time"
[21:37:44] * +Paladin judges where north should be, and walks to that point.
[21:38:03] <+T_Shaw> "Yes, Master Alec."
[21:38:17] <+Paladin> "Aye" :: Paladin says in Valimari ::
[21:38:35] * +James nods and opens his mind to Alec.
[21:38:42] <+T_Shaw> :: grins at Paladin ::
[21:38:47] <.Bynw> *Alec takes out his sword and holds it aloft facing the east and green handfire pours down its blade and his arms and finally engulfs his body for a moment as he stands there*
[21:39:00] * +Paladin lets down his mental shields.
[21:40:05] <.Bynw> *taking his sword in hand he starts at the eastern point and walk with the blade down facing the ground ... pouring out mental energies ... he walk clockwise .. east to south to west to north and back to the east again
[21:40:32] <.Bynw> *where he holds the sword aloft again for a moment and then lays it on the ground*

[21:42:25] <.Bynw> *Alec* "By rites ancient and powerful we have prepared this place" *he states as a green light begins to filter upward from the circled path he and Shaw walked until the 4 of them are covered by its dome

[21:59:01] * +Paladin peers with Alec into the realm of the mind.. he faces north, with his head tilted, and raises his arms.
[22:00:05] <+Paladin> "In the Name of Light Returning, I call upon the Might Atlas, Lord of the Earth and Matter, Prince of the North. Guide and Protect us within the Circle!"
