[19:50] <Bynw> [21:58] * Dr_Cross steps forward "I am the Medical Officer"
[19:50] <Bynw> [21:59] * Ken walks up "I am the engineer."
[19:50] <Bynw> [22:00] <Bynw> *Aerv* "Come on aboard then. We will be taking you to one of our medical facilities." *he says while addressing Dr Cross* "And you get to see this ship." *he says turning to Ken*\

[19:50] <Bynw> [22:01] * Dr_Cross takes out his medical scanners
[19:50] <Bynw> [22:02] * Ken takes out his datapad and scanner from his tool belt and follows Aerv inside
[19:50] <Bynw> [22:03] * Sathara stands near Raith.
[19:50] <Bynw> [22:09] <Raith> "Aerv would you like to introduce me to your two crew mates?"

[19:51] <Bynw> *Aerv introduces the two men with him as Rh'vaurek, his engineer and Stelam the chief medical officer from his ship*
[19:54] <Raith> ::Extends his hand to each in turn::
[19:55] * Sathara steps up to shake hands with Rh'vaurek and Stelam.
[19:55] * Ken walks over to the engineer and holds out his hand. "I am Ken; the engineer aboard the Lady Luck. Can I see your engineering section now?"
[19:55] <Bynw> *the two exchange pleasantries with the crew of the Lady Luck*

[20:07] <Raith> "Are you any good with a knife Sathara?"
[20:07] <Ken> "Rh'vaurek, can you tell me what advances you have made since meeting the first Raith?"
[20:07] <Sathara> "Wouldn't carry 'em if I didn't know how to use 'em, Cap'n."
[20:08] <Bynw> *Stelam takes dr_cross into the ship to show him the medical bay*
[20:08] <Sathara> "Aerv, sir, may I see your weapons systems?  That's my area of special expertise."
[20:09] <Bynw> *Aerv* "Very well. You may come on with me then."
[20:09] <dr_cross> "Should I call you Dr. Stelam?"
[20:09] * Sathara follows Aerv into the ship.
[20:10] <Bynw> *Stelam* "just Stelam"
[20:10] <dr_cross> "Oh ok, Stelam. Please call me Phrax"
[20:12] <Raith> ::Follows Aerv onto the ship, absently looking about.::
[20:14] * dr_cross walks with Stelam to the Medical Bay
[20:14] <Bynw> *Rh'vaurek to Ken* "We have continued to rebuild our civilization ... to bring us up from the limited existence we had at the time of catastrophe."
[20:15] <Ken> "I see, what do yo9u use as your main power source?"
[20:16] <Bynw> *Rh'vaurek* "Fusion generators. Much the same as your ship."
[20:17] <dr_cross> "Stelam, how far advaced are you in the medical field? like, in cloning?"
[20:17] <Ken> "What is your plasma/energy coeffcient?"
[20:18] <Raith> ::Breaks from Aerv slowly wandering the ship alone while the others chat he looks for someone to chat with as well, or some trouble to get into::
[20:21] <Bynw> *Stelam* "We have a number of clones within our population. Our gene pool requires it in order to survive as a race. We are too few in numbers otherwise."
[20:24] <dr_cross> "Can I see your cloning vats!" *grins
[20:24] <Sathara> "Aerv, what are your ship's primary weapons?"
[20:25] <Bynw> *Rh'vaurek gives Ken the figures which are very impressive*
[20:25] <Bynw> *Aerv and Sathara arrive on the bridge of the ship* "Where did Raith go?"
[20:25] * Sathara looks around, startled.  "Oh, frakking hell.  I don't know, sir."
[20:27] <Bynw> *Aerv seems to be unconcerned about Raith not being present and takes Sathara over to the firecontrol panel*
[20:28] <Raith> ::Not trying to hide, but not trying to be seen either, he begins peeking about the ship, opening doors that don't seem like they lead to private quarters. Keeping his eyes open for anything he doesn't recognize or just someone interesting::
[20:28] * Sathara pays close attention to the ship's fire control panel, noting similarities and differences to those on the Lady Luck.
[20:29] <Sathara> "Aerv, sir, what kind of power do your weapons use?"
[20:30] <Bynw> *the ship is crewed with both male and female members as Raith wonders about. it is bigger than his own ship.
[20:31] <Raith> ::Smiles at the men, smiles invitingly at the women::
[20:31] <Ken> "What is your fuel for the fusion reaction?"
[20:31] <dr_cross> "You see, Stelam, I have this... pet project in mind... something that would be extremely use and earn accolades in the medical community..."

[20:31] <Bynw> *the weapons are several batteries of railguns and a couple of missile bays*
[20:34] <Raith> ::Begins opening random doors, not paying attention to where he is going so much as what he sees::
[20:36] <Bynw> *Raith opens a door to discover one of the ship's heads. a female is at the sink and turns to him* "Well either come in or stay out but close the door" *her speech is similar to that of Aerv's ... very little accent.*
[20:36] <dr_cross> "... listen to this, it's brillaint! I am designing a field-cloning-vat! attached *inside* a cybernetic appendage (hand, leg, arm, or whatever)"
[20:39] <dr_cross> "... so, the patient has full mobility with cybernetics *and* his missing organ is growing... like a flower bud!"
[20:40] <dr_cross> "Its innovative, don't you think?"
[20:40] <Bynw> *Stelam* "We have no cloning vats onboard the 'bloodwing' to show you. those are all kept planetside. the idea is very innovative yes."
[20:40] <Raith> ::Smiles mischieviously at the woman:: "Sorry guess I got a bit lost..." ::trails off as he looks the woman up and down quickly and appreciatively::
[20:41] * dr_cross shakes Stelam's hand with glee "Thank you, thank you"
[20:42] <Bynw> *Ken and Rh'vaurek continue their discussion of engineering principles. The Khelliannsu and the Alliance use the same elements for their fusion reactors but the Khelliannsu ones seem to be a bit more efficient*
[20:42] <Bynw> *the woman looks at Raith* "Well ... are  you going to close the door?"
[20:44] * Ken makes notes "Can you provide me with the schematics of your intermix chamber and conduit system?"
[20:44] * dr_cross continues tour with Stelam

  [20:45] * Sathara takes a good look at the weapons systems, then turns to Aerv.  "What do your people use for closer combat weapons?"
  [20:46] <Bynw> *Aerv* "Personal combat or ship-to-ship?"
  [20:46] <Sathara> "Personal combat."
  [20:46] <Sathara> "Well, both, actually."
  [20:48] <Bynw> *Aerv* "We have several variety of slugthrowing firearms. And an energy based disrupter weapon as well. But if we can, we prefer to use more traditional forms of combat for personal honor. Swords and daggers."
  [20:49] <Bynw> *the woman looks different from some of the other women Raith has seen ... not quite sure what it is different about her ... just that it is different. and she continues to look at him rather disgusted that the door is still open*
  [20:50] <Bynw> *Rhvaurek* "I'm sure I can get you some data. May I see your device there? I would like to check it for compatibility."
  [20:50] * Sathara 's eyes light up.  "May I see examples of the weapons?"
  [20:51] <Bynw> *Aerv agrees to show Sathara weapons of a personal nature. And leads her back off the bridge heading to a weapons storage locker*
  [20:51] <Ken> "Certainly Rh'Vaurek"
  [20:52] * Ken hands over the datapad.
  [20:52] <Raith> ::Steps into the bathroom, closing the door behind him. He glances into the sink trying to discern what the woman is up to:: "Guess it's in."
  [20:54] <Bynw> *she is taking care of some personal hygiene at the sink and tending to her appearance* "We have all heard about your arrival. The news have spread across our worlds and ships."
  [20:58] <Bynw> *she finishes up tending to her looks, straitening out her clothing in the mirror and turns to Raith* "So how do I look?"
  [20:58] <Raith> ::Eyes her again::
  [20:58] <Raith> ??how does she look??
  [21:04] <Bynw> *Rh'vaurek takes the pad and looks it over. Fiddling with it as he checks it out.* "I think we may be able to work with this."
  [21:06] <Raith> "Like the sun on my home planet just as it peeks over the horizon and kisses the wildflowers with the first rays of light."
  [21:06] * Ken nods "I am working on increasing the efficiency and storage, I hope to have a prototype soon. May I see on eof yours?"
  [21:06] <Bynw> *he hands the pad back to Ken* "I believe you have some form of wireless data transmission. Please activate it and we will see if our system can talk to yours."
  [21:06] <Raith> "Can I walk with you awhile?"
  [21:08] * Ken turns on the short range link on his pad.
  [21:08] <Bynw> *the woman laughs a bit* "Yes you may. I see you are not being escorted about." *she leaves the head with Raith*
  [21:10] * dr_cross listens absent-mindedly to Stelam's tour-guiding
  [21:10] <Bynw> *Aerv taps into a security panel to open the weapons locker. Within it are several pistols as well as rifles.*
  [21:11] * Sathara watches in patient fascination as Aerv displays the weapons.  "I'd have to clear it with the cap'n of course, but I have a collection you might like to see."
  [21:12] <Bynw> *Aerv shows the various slug throwers and then the disrupter rifles*
  [21:12] * Sathara is particularly interested in the disrupter rifles.  "How exactly does the charge on this work?"
  [21:13] <dr_cross> "Stelam, can I request for a datapad of your cloning technologies?"
  [21:14] <Raith> ::Follows the woman at her side:: "I was, but I slipped away. I'm not the kind to be leashed."
  [21:16] <Bynw> *Aerv* "I am not a weapons expert myself. I know that the powersource is what you would call cobalt. beyond that you point it at the enemy and pull the trigger. they either suffer tissue damage and die."
  [21:16] <Raith> "Where are we going?"
  [21:17] <Bynw> *Stelam* "I can give you some texts on the subject certainly."
  [21:17] <Bynw> *woman* "Crew quarters. I need to get a few things."
  [21:17] * Sathara grins at Aerv.  "Impressive."
  [21:18] <dr_cross> "Thank you, Stelam"
  [21:19] <Ken> "Rh'vaurek what do you use for long range communication?"
  [21:20] <Raith> ::Misses a step and falls behind her for a moment, then catches up. He walks in silence for a moment then speaks up:: "You going on a trip then?" ::smiles knowingly::
  [21:20] <Bynw> *Rh'vaurek* "Long range? We are out of communication range past 9.4 LY"
  [21:20] <Bynw> *woman* "Yes I'm going with you when you leave."
  [21:23] <Ken> "I believe we can help you with that."
  [21:24] <Raith> ::Nods slowly and purses his lips, continues moving with her his hands clasp behind his back now:: "I see. Why?"
  [21:26] <Bynw> *she stops* "Because you wanted one of my people to come with you and the call was made. I have answered it." *she pauses* "I want to see my father's home."
  [21:29] <Raith> ::Stops next to her, swallows and pauses for a moment:: "Your father? Who was that?"
  [21:31] <Bynw> *Rh'vaurek* "And what we use for any long range communications are our adepts."
  [21:32] <Ken> "The range is 9.4 ly with your adepts?"

  [21:32] <Bynw> *Stelam* "If we had more time Phrax, we could arrange a trip to one of our cloning facilities and be able to show you first hand. But that will have to wait for now."
  [21:34] <Bynw> *Rh'vaurek* "Yes they can communicate telepathically with one another up to 9.4 ly away ... after that its just not possible."
  [21:34] <Ken> "We have FTL communication that extends far beyond that."
  [21:34] <fudgebob_> "Thank you for the tour, Stelam... I hope we meet again, preferable on your planet, soon"

  [21:36] <Bynw> *Aerv* "Many of the crew carry blades with them at all times. Usually a dagger and sometimes higher ranked members will carry swords with them on some occasions"

  [21:39] <Sathara> "I usually carry blades on me as well, a couple of daggers and a shortsword, but the cap'n doesn't want me to carry them so they're stored for now."

  [21:39] <Dr_Cross> "Having fun, Sathara?" *smiles
  [21:40] <Bynw> *woman* "Raith was my father. So in a way you are my father."
  [21:40] <Sathara> "Aerv here has been showing me their weapons, so, yes, indeed."
  [21:41] <Bynw> *Rh'vaurek* "Well your device is communicating with the panel now. I'm attempting to find a compatible format for the data. It might just have to be raw data and you will have to sort it out."
  [21:42] <Raith> ::Shutters a bit:: "Of course you are."
  [21:43] <Raith> "Well that explains a lot. Where is your mother?"
  [21:45] <Bynw> "I've waited most of my life for someone to come from the Alliance. I was hoping it would be ... " *her voice trails off* "She died. About 10 years ago. Caught some kind of plague that swept through our worlds one year."
  [21:48] <Bynw> *Aerv* "Ah Doctor Cross. Finished in the medical bay already?"
  [21:48] <Raith> ::Looks down for a bit:: "I'm sorry." ::Looks back up:: "I uh. Yeah..." ::laughs nervously:: "Yeah this is akward."
  [21:48] <Ken> "That should not be too much trouble Rh,vaurek."
  [21:49] <Dr_Cross> "Yes, Aerv... Stelam was a very helpful and informative"
  [21:50] <Raith> "I need a drink."
  [21:51] <Raith> "Do you drink?"
  [21:53] <Bynw> "Yes" *she answers and resumes walking*
  [21:56] <Raith> ::sighs long and loud then hurries to catch up to her:: "What is your name?"
  [21:57] <Bynw> *woman* "It's is Jaeih"
  [21:57] <Bynw> *Aerv* "Is there anything else I can show to the 2 of you?" *he asks Dr Cross and Sathara*
  [21:58] <Bynw> *Rh'vaurek* "The data is being transmitted now. It will be in raw form."
  [21:58] <Sathara> "I think I'm good, thanks."
  [21:58] <Dr_Cross> "You have been good to us, Aerv, thank you"
  [22:00] <Ken> "Thank you Rh'vaurek. Can I see your cloaking device now?"
  [22:01] <Raith> "Pretty name. What did you do for a living before this?"
  [22:05] <Bynw> *Jaeih* "Before this?"
  [22:07] <Raith> "Yeah, before you became a member of my crew and envoy to the Alliance. Before this."
  [22:09] <Bynw> "I'm a pilot. Like my father." *she opens a door they have stopped at*
