RECAP

Anami and Cathrak, despite the loss of their companions from a unknown attacker, resolve to continue the investigation of the ruined town. As they are discussing their approach to the strangely intact building in the center of town, Sato bursts out of the collapsed tea house, managing to escape his captor. Close behind, from another underground exit, Takabe rejoins the party. The four re-united, they agree to re-trace Sato's escape route, down the hole again, hoping to rescue the others and reach the stange builidng undetected!

They see that it is the damp basement of the teahouse, filled with boxes and barrels. They find a diary among the boxes but before they could read it, a shadowy figure with glowing eyes follow them in! An exotic, strange humanoid, Myaki, and her giant wolf. She seeks the destruction of the creep and also recover her spear whuch the creep took from her last night. Sato points to an earthen hole by the corner where he escape. The party then proceed down the tunnel. After going down about 50 feet, the tunnel ends  at a collapsed wall.

Something charges at Takabe with a shout! It knocks the torch out and attacks Takabe who is saved by his quickness. He takes a cut a in his thigh and goes down! Anami hurls her hamer over Takabe hoping to hit the attacker, as well as, to see, through the green glow of her hammer, the identity of their attacker. The throw was deadly accurate, hitting the face of their missing ronin, Emvrel, knocking him back through the collapsed brick wall.
