RECAP 8

The Adventurers reach the ourskirts of the walled, devastated town.
Scouting the area indicates every building was burned to the ground.
Except for two structures, the damaged fort at the south end of town
and a 3-storey structure in the middle of town, strangely intact.

They enter the town to investigate further but are side-tracked to
a blackened, stone-walled building - a dimsum restaurant! Anami saw
someone or something enter it. Takabe enters alone. but soon fall silent
and does not return. The party is alarmed and the 4 ronin and Sato
rush in to the rescue. A great commotion ensues, sounds of battle and
struggle... then silence again!

Outside, Anami, Ryuno, and Sheng are stunned. With the light of a torch,
they enter together. They see signs of a great struggle but no bodies!
Suudenly, they are attacked by a long, red, tentacle-like appendages,
grabbing both Anami and Sheng. Ryuno manages to free Anami but Sheng is
pulled into the back of the room. The battle causes the collapse of the back
room. Anami try to rescue her friends but are forced to jump out when the rest of
the building collapses.
