Regan Cuinn DeWatters  (REE-gin KWIN de-WAHT-ers)

Regan is from Kylemore Village, Milesian Kingdom, Alaknar. He is 24 years old, six foot tall with a medium to slim build. He has wavy raven black hair (with a blueish tinge in the light) just past his shoulders. His skin is slightly tanned. His eyes are light blue. He has a VERY slight scar at the left corner of his upper lip. If noticed, this will make him appear to be smirking slightly. He wears a full length black cloak with a silver threaded runed collar. The buttons are also silver. He carries an obsidian quarterstaff with silver inlays throughout the length of the staff. His Aura is bright silver with obsidian flakes. He also carries a black ash long bow. He rides a Sorraia stallion named Raider.

Raider:
The Sorraia has an appearance remarkably similar to the prehistoric cave paintings found across the eastern mountain range between Alaknar and Altair. It is a direct descendant of the now extinct T'Sarpan that once ranged throughout most of the Southern Continent.

The breed possesses many characteristics that are typical of prehistoric equines, with a narrow, convex head and long slender ears. The neck is elegant and muscular, and can be held nicely arched. The horses are somewhat compact, with an uphill build, well defined withers, and a medium tail set. The Sorraia's hips tend to slope down and outward in what is sometimes referred to as a raftered hip. This can give the animal an exaggerated appearance when in poor condition. Sorrias have a narrow but deep chest having great lung capacity, and a fairly horizontally angled sloping shoulder. Their legs have exceptionally good joints, hard hooves with a thick wall, and good cannon bones that are rounder in cross section, and therefore stronger, than in most human-created breeds. These natural sized horses can run from between 13 to 15 hand high (similar in range to the size found in hemionus and zebras). Smaller individuals are probably due to marginal grazing on which the breed is specialist at surviving.

Their black manes and tails usually have a lighter, almost whitish, fringe of bordering hair, called bi-coloring. Sorraias are almost always a "primitive" color: dun, grulla, or sometimes a melanistic darkening that can almost look from dark grey to true black (rare) ((Raider is a silky charcoal)). Sorraias always have a dorsal stripe and zebra markings on the legs, and withers.

Sorraias are extremely tough, but with a calm and gentle temperament. Their natural nemesis is the mountain goat since both species vie for the same rocky, mountainous grazing grounds. Sorraia stallions have been frequently known to defend their herd to the death from mountain lions, jaguars and other formidable predators. Possessing great endurance and stamina, they tend to have an exceptionally long, durable riding/working life. An adult Sorraia can run at an above average speed for a well above average distance.
