[19:40:21] <~Bynw> | new day and hope for the future. With
[19:40:22] <~Bynw> | the Bishop's troops on patrol within
[19:40:23] <~Bynw> | and outside of the city, there have
[19:40:25] <~Bynw> | been no additional attacks from any
[19:40:26] <~Bynw> | Druids working for Chadwick. They all
[19:40:27] <~Bynw> | seem to have retreated into the swamps
[19:40:29] <~Bynw> | or died with their master in the in
[19:40:30] <~Bynw> | swarm attack.

[19:40:33] <~Bynw> | The rebuilding of the city will be slow
[19:40:34] <~Bynw> | and costly. The harbor will need repaired
[19:40:35] <~Bynw> | as ships were sunk in it and then there
[19:40:36] <~Bynw> | is all the property damage. And the
[19:40:38] <~Bynw> | Catherdral and Palace.

[19:43:28] <~Bynw> *Come the dawn, 2 new ships have sailed into Warp Wood's harbor. One of the ships bears the flag of Warp Wood and her Bishop, showing that it is an eccesiastical vessel. As it reaches the make shift docks the unloading of needed supplies begins. Building materials and food.
[19:44:45] <~Bynw> *the 2nd ship, bears the flag of the Seafort merchant house. it too has supplies that are being unloaded and several men, who are not deck hands disembark making their way through the city to find the Lords*
[19:46:50] <~Bynw> *the seafort man finds where the Lords are holding their court. within the old seafort offices near the docks. here he presents himself to Lord Jack in the others absence*

[19:48:09] <~Bynw> "M'Lord" *the man makes a bow at the neck* "I am Master Reginald Seafort. And I bear news for you and your fellows." *he looks around* "I may present them to you?"
[19:49:13] <+Jack> "That's great.  Sure, let's hear the news."
[19:50:40] <+Jack> "would you like a donut?"
[19:52:04] <~Bynw> *he clears his throat* "In light of the recent war between the territory of Warp Wood and the terriory of Egoria, which resulted in the death of Master Edwin Seafort and the near death of Lord Nexum. Plus the loss of many lives in the process of building a trade road through the swamps and rainforests north of the city. The House of Seafort has determined that the costs involved do not equal any profit obtainable in <-

[19:53:33] <~Bynw> "The House of Seafort, with the backing of His Majest, the King of Halifax, for whom we are chartered. Do hearby rescind and resign from any contract entered with the Royal Houses of Warp Wood. Effective this date."
[19:53:44] <+Jack> "I'm really sorry to hear about your losses.  I'll let the others know about the project, thanks."
[19:53:54] <~Bynw> *he hands over a sealed scroll to Lord Jack*
[19:54:33] <~Bynw> "We are not without heart however. And in good faith we have brought 1 ship load of needed supplies to assist in your rebuilding efforts."
[19:54:38] <+Jack> "Let me guess.  The bill, right?"
[19:55:06] <+Jack> "Supplies are much appreciated.  Thanks!"
[19:55:39] <~Bynw> "No bill m'Lord." *Master Seafort states* "The Royal Houses of Warp Wood have a clear slate at this time."
[19:56:04] <+Jack> "Thanks again, then!  You're most kind."
[19:57:59] <~Bynw> *Master Seafort bows requests permission to recover any documents that may be left here in the offices used by his house*
[19:58:26] <+Jack> "Of course, help yourself."
[19:58:29] <~Bynw> * LOCATION - EGORIA
[19:59:18] <~Bynw> *there is knock on Seth's door in the early morning
[19:59:20] <+Seth> ::Pouring himself a drink as he reviews case files for prisoners for his new work program::
[19:59:45] <+Seth> ::"Come."
[20:00:11] <~Bynw> *the bishop enters, presenting his ring of office before seth*
[20:00:35] <+Seth> ::throws covers over some maid that slumbers in his bed face down as the bishop enters::
[20:01:07] <+Seth> ::Turns and kisses the ring; light and quick:: "Your eminence."
[20:01:25] <~Bynw> "Sire. The bans that you wished have been written. However we have taken them on a different course."
[20:01:45] <+Seth> ::raises an eyebrow at the bishop::
[20:01:57] <+Seth> "Explain."
[20:03:25] <~Bynw> "An outright attack against any druids within the territory may prove to have then disappear, if they are in league with Chadwick. And may cause them to disappear due to being discriminated against if they are not."
[20:05:22] <+Seth> ::Sips his drink, with a dour face:: "Go on."
[20:05:51] <~Bynw> "Therefore, the bans are written as a mandatory Royal Census of all persons within the territory. For the Royal Census takers, they will have the information to question the druids."
[20:06:42] <+Seth> ::Nods:: "And then we can round them up at our leisure. Is that your plan?"
[20:06:53] <~Bynw> "In this manner, a census is taken of the territory which can be used for a number of services. And the druids are discovered without raising suspicion."

[20:10:22] <~Bynw> "Do you approve Sire?" *the bishop asks*
[20:10:26] <+Seth> "Excellent idea your eminence. I'm glad we can start our relations on a good foot."
[20:10:29] * +Coch rises and after dressing walks around the inside of the building
[20:10:55] <+Seth> "I've had so many problems with the former Bishop of Warp Wood."
[20:11:09] <~Bynw> "The bans wait your signature and seal"
[20:11:57] <~Bynw> *the bishop looks at seth* "With Bishop Malor?"
[20:13:19] <+Seth> ::Takes the document from the Bishop and takes a seat at his writing desk to sign and seal it::
[20:14:00] <+Seth> "Yes. Malor, tragic how he died."
[20:14:05] <~Bynw> *once signed and sealed the Bishop takes them back* "I shall see to there posting Sire"
[20:14:49] <+Seth> "Thank you, your eminence."
[20:15:06] <+Seth> ::Nods to the man as a way of dimissal::
[20:15:20] <~Bynw> *the bishop stops* "Bishop Malor has died? That is sad news. He shall be missed" *he departs the chamber*
[20:16:30] <+Seth> "Oh one moment your eminence, please.."
[20:17:16] <~Bynw> *he stops* "Yes Sire?"
[20:18:09] <+Seth> ::Stands and crosses the chamber to stand close to the man:: "A member of the Aman has taken Nidar's place. A father Pele. Do you know him?"
[20:18:54] <~Bynw> "Yes I know of him. He's been Bishop Nidar's secretary for many years."
[20:19:55] <+Seth> "He has claimed Nidar's appointment and his office. I'm unfamiliar with church policy in such matters, but is that traditional?"
[20:21:24] <~Bynw> "He cannot just claim it. He must be appointed to it by the Holy Church. Bishop Pele would not claim to be Bishop if it was not so. The Aman are not liars."
[20:22:29] * +Coch decides to follow his nose to the kitchen for breakfast
[20:23:10] <~Bynw> *the servants see to Coch's needs for food*
[20:23:29] <+Seth> ::looks thoughtful and nods slowly:: "I see. Well if you could forward the news to the arch-bishop I would appreciate it. This man's politics is not to my liking. He seems soft on the Druids, having missed the battle with them entirely."

[20:24:24] <+Seth> ::Nods again to the Bishop:: "Thank you again your eminence."
[20:24:35] <~Bynw> *the bishop leaves*
[20:24:45] <~Bynw> * LOCATION - WARP WOOD
[20:26:47] <~Bynw> *by mid afternoon, several reports have been made to the Queen and Lord Jack concerning the rebuilding of Warp Wood. Bishop Pele's ships will be used to pull the sunken ships out to sea thus clearing the harbor
[20:27:14] <~Bynw> *many of the towns people have come seeking petitions for a variety of issues before them
[20:28:36] <~Bynw> *at the end of the morning's court, just before the midday break, a man approaches the Queen and bows deeply before her. he is wearing the livery of her father*
[20:32:25] <~Bynw> "My Lady Charissa. I bring good news from home. 2 months ago, our House has regained a place of honor amoung the high houses of the territories. Your House and family need you."
[20:33:24] * +Charissa stares at the man, mouth wide open. "We have our lands back? I can go home?"
[20:34:16] <~Bynw> "Yes my Lady." *he says* "I have been tracking you down for some months now"
[20:35:07] <+Charissa> "Jack, did you hear that?  I can go HOME!"
[20:35:25] <+Jack> "Ummm . . . that's great!"
[20:35:26] <~Bynw> "I am prepared to leave with the Seafort ship in the morning. To travel to Corassi and from there to make several portal jumps back home"
[20:36:44] <+Charissa> "Jack, can you handle the reconstruction here until the others return?"
[20:37:30] <+Jack> "Sure, no problem."
[20:37:42] <+Charissa> "Thank you!"
[20:38:07] <+Charissa> ::turns to the man:: "I'll go pack my things.  I'll be ready to leave with you in the morning."
[20:38:33] <+Charissa> "oh to go HOME.  To see my family again."  ::Charissa is grinning from ear to ear::
[20:39:48] <~Bynw> *Bishop Pele* "You will be relinqueshing your claims to Warp Wood?"
[20:47:06] <+Charissa> "aye Bishop.  I am needed in my native lands"
[20:48:03] <~Bynw> *Bishop Pele nods* "I shall have the drafts prepared then. You may sign them before your ship sails. You shall be missed your Majesty"
[20:48:51] <~Bynw> * LOCATION - EGORIA
[20:48:52] <+Charissa> "thank you Your Grace"
[20:49:54] <~Bynw> *By midday the Royal Census is posted and announced to the territory*
[20:51:40] * +Coch gives a note to a page for Lord Seth
[20:53:06] <~Bynw> *Marshal Sprax finds Seth about the same time as the page does*
[20:53:37] <+Seth> ::in the royal hall, sipping wine and reviewing the census::
[20:54:10] <+Seth> ::He looks up as Sprax and the page enter:: "Yes?"
[20:55:07] <~Bynw> *the page hands Seth a note indicating the Coch wants to meet him for lunch and discuss the territory*
[20:57:49] <~Bynw> *Sprax, who looks like he's been out on hard ride for the morning* "Sire"
[20:58:11] <+Seth> ::Nods to the Page and dismisses him:: "Marshal. Wine?"
[20:59:17] <~Bynw> *He takes the offer of the wine* "I've just come back from a partial ride and Portal Jump."
[21:00:23] <~Bynw> "There is a river about a day or day and a half ride away. It leads to the northern coast of the territories. Ships travel it."
[21:03:44] <+Seth> ::Nods:: "yes I know. My plan is to run the trade road from here to warp wood."
[21:04:21] <+Seth> "Creating a trade road that cuts right through the west abronn territories"
[21:04:34] <~Bynw> *Sprax nods* "Trading ships. There is a city at the terminus of the river. Although it is on the other side of the river and thus not within Egoria. Egoria and her neighbor have a long standing trade agreement to use the river. Egoria does have some buildings on ourside of the river though."
[21:06:18] <+Seth> ::Steeples his fingers:: "I see. You've a plan in mind?"
[21:07:24] <~Bynw> "We can certainly build up our side of the river. I say we keep this trade agreement with our neighbor. Perhaps even give them a discount on the trade road once its built."
[21:09:54] * +Coch enters the Royal Hall with servants in tow bearing trays of cheese, meat, bread, and wine that are placed on a table  "Is anybody hungry?"::looking at Sprax and Seth::"We can have a working lunch, please join me"::motioning for the others to take seats at the table::
[21:10:50] * +Coch takes a seat but waits for the others before he begins his meal
[21:11:21] <+Seth> ::Nods:: "A good move Marshal. I'll see to it that the agreement will stand. We can negotiate a deal for access to the trade road once it's built or if we need help building it."
[21:11:29] <~Bynw> *Sprax moves to the table without a second invitation*
[21:13:22] <~Bynw> *Sprax pours a goblet of wine for his master and hands it to him. his fingers briefly touching Seths*
[21:15:09] * +Coch takes a little from each tray and pours himself some wine
[21:15:55] <~Bynw> ** this will be a wrap all **
