[18:31] <.Bynw> *Within the Holy City of Altair.  The adventures have been given quarters within the Mother House of the Order of Aman.  Cymber has been escorted elsewhere, her trail set for the morning.*

[18:31] <.Bynw> *After spending the afternoon within the City the adventures have returned to the Mother House.  They are not allowed contact with Cymber and their presence is requested at her trial.*

[18:34] <.Bynw> *morning comes and the trail is set for the early hours around 10am - after the normal routine is completed for the abby life*
[18:36] <.Bynw> *Cymber is escorted in silence to the trail chambers and sits quietly in the docks awaiting her trail.  she is flanked by several knights of the aman order*
[18:37] <+James> ::enters and finds a seat::
[18:37] <.Bynw> *Jaden has no desire to goto the trial and begins packing his things awaiting the outcome in his chambers*
[18:37] * +Jenna enters with James and Chadmyr, sitting with them
[18:39] <.Bynw> *the camber is filled with many brothers of the Aman Order and several priests of other Orders of Christiandom.  Humans, Elves, Half-Elves, a few Dwarves and Sckoraali make up the various priests in attendance.  Including one Sckoraali sitting next to Cymber.*
[18:40] <.Bynw> camber=chamber
[18:42] <.Bynw> *sitting in judgement are three priests.  one is obviously the abbot of this house, another wears a bishops miter, and a 3rd priest of another order.*
[18:43] <.Bynw> *once all is settled the Bishop calls the court to order and opens the proceedings with a prayer to God.  Then calls for the accounting by Sir Terance*
[18:46] <.Bynw> *Sir Terance recounts the events of his noble knights in christ and how they have been trailing an outlawed band of slavers for many months and finally conered them and were ingaged in battle when he was assulted by then, an unknown skilled bowman and by magic*
[18:49] <.Bynw> *he then gives the accounting that he learned it was that woman, pointing to Cymber in the docks, that had shot him with full intent to kill him since he was the leader of his people.  he then bows respectfully and takes his seat*
[18:50] <.Bynw> *the Bishop calls for other knights that travelled to Altair with Sir Terance and their accounting of the events.  Afterward he calls for Cymber to take the stand and give her accounting for her actions*
[18:52] <+Cymber> ::stands up and faces the Bishop::
[18:56] <.Bynw> ((the bishop is waiting))
[18:57] <+Cymber> ::waits for a signal to say something::
[18:57] <.Bynw> (( you can begin at anytime the calling you was the signal :-) ))
[18:58] * +Cymber bows to the Bishop and says "Your Highness, I'd like to say a few words"
[18:59] <+Cymber> "First, I am truly sorry for shooting Sir Terrence.  I am very grateful and thank God that he wasn't seriously injured.  Secondly, I'd like to give some reasons as to my behaviour if I am allowed to do so."
[19:00] <.Bynw> *bishop* "That is why you are where you are now"
[19:01] <+Cymber> "So I may give my explanation?"
[19:01] <.Bynw> *bishop* "Yes child"
[19:06] <+Cymber> "Well, first of all, my sense of humanity came up..you see, I recognized one of the Sckoraali that was killed as one of the ones who our party helped on the plateau.  Second, I felt compelled to kill the leader of the band of Deryni that was massacring these lizardmen.  I cannot totally explain the latter, but, that is the way I felt ast the moment.  If I should have to die for it, so be it...I submit to your justice, your Highness.
[19:08] <.Bynw> *The Bishop allows Cymber to take her seat back in the docks and asks if there are others who which to give a statement before the court*
[19:09] * +Jenna remains silent, a sad look on her face
[19:10] <.Bynw> *Chad looks over at James*
[19:10] <+James> ::stands::
[19:11] <.Bynw> *as the Bishops eyes turn on James he can feel the mind-touch of a Truth Reading wash over him*
[19:11] <+James> ::does not resist::
[19:12] <+James> "I wanted to point out that we are strangers to your land.  We are from the far North and had never seen the Holy Order of Aman before, so we did not recognize them as the protectors of law that they are.  I personally believed at first that the lizardmen were the victims when I saw Sir Terrance attacking them."
[19:13] <+James> "I hope that Cymber's lack of knowledge of who she shot will be taken into account."
[19:13] <+James> ::sits::
[19:14] * +Cymber glances at James with a smile and a nod..and whispers "thank you"
[19:15] <.Bynw> *The bishops ask again if there are any others and after a time decree that the time for deliberation is over.  They will take a recess as the court has been in session for several hours and noon time prayers are needed to be preformed.  at 1pm they will pass judgement*
[19:20] <.Bynw> *at 1pm the court is resumed and the priests gather at their bench calling all to rise to their feet as the past judgment apon the accused*

[19:21] * +Palamedes rolls the dice for Jenna (d20-2) and rolled 11.
[19:22] <+James> ::rises::
[19:22] <+Cymber> d10
[19:22] * +Palamedes rolls the dice for Cymber (d10) and rolled 5.
[19:25] <.Bynw> *Bishop* "We find the accused, one Cymber of Halifax to be guilty of assult against a Knight of Christ.  Even given the circumstances learned of this action by testimony and by her own memory.  It is unexcusable."
[19:25] * +Palamedes (services@127.0.0.1) has left #Teara-Adan
[19:28] <.Bynw> *Bishop*  "But the court is merciful in its judgements.  She is to be sentanced to 45 days in the jails of Altair.  Sentence is to begin immediantly."
[19:28] <+James> ::quietly sighs in relief::
[19:29] <.Bynw> *the court is dismissed*
[19:29] * Palamedes (services@127.0.0.1) has joined #Teara-Adan

[19:29] <+Cymber> ::looks to James and Jenna::
[19:29] * +Jenna wipes away a single tear and waves to Cymber, smiling hopefuly
[19:30] <+James> ::looks back and smiles::
[19:30] <+Cymber> ::wait for me or come and get me?::
[19:31] <+Jenna> ((not sure what you mean Cymber))
[19:31] <+Cymber> ((45days))
[19:32] <.Bynw> *The adventures will be allowed to say goodbyes to their friend by the Court ... it is merciful after all*
[19:32] <+James> ::to Jenna:: "Can we wait here 45 days?  I think Jaden is already packing."
[19:33] <+Jenna> "James, we are moving on - at least Jaden and I are.  You know Chad is."
[19:33] <+James> "I really need to as well.  It was just a thought."
[19:34] <+Jenna> "I can't imagine staying here - or coming back actually"
[19:35] <+Cymber> ((lordy...you really don't want me to create another character do ya??))
[19:36] <+Jenna> ::to James:: "we should go and say goodbye though"
[19:36] <+Cymber> ((it can be "both the saviour of humankind or it's bane, as I said in one of quotes))
[19:36] <+James> ((James would stay, but then we'd both have to create new characters.))
[19:37] <+James> ::nods to Jenna::
[19:37] <+Cymber> ((would like the opportunity to roll up a new character..May the Gods have Mercy on your Souls!))
[19:38] <+Jenna> ((with no alignment rules, I'm sure we'll need God's mercy ))
[19:39] <+Cymber> ((considerning the last one was C-N..YEP!))
[19:39] <+James> ::says goodbye to Cymber, and tells her that we're heading to Einar and after possibly to Capris if Jaden has his way.::  "Maybe we'll meet again somewhere."
[19:40] <+James> "Take care and be well."
[19:40] <.Bynw> *Chadmyr smiles and says*  "See ya after you get out."
[19:40] * +Jenna hugs Cymber goodbye, saying "I'm so sorry things turned out this way - I suppose it could have been worse though"
[19:41] * +Cymber waves to all...thank you for being here for me
[19:41] <+James> ::smiles::
[19:41] * Cymber is now known as Mistyck
[19:42] * +Mistyck rubs her hands...Can't wait to roll up a new character
[19:43] <.Bynw> I guess we will stop here as James, Chad, Jenna and Jaden need to decide what to do and Cymber is taken away for her 45 days in jail (lucky lucky luck)
