[22:33] <.Bynw> *The Holy City of Altair, is the vocal point of all Christiandom.  The Vicar of Christ and His leading ArchBishops reside in this great city.  Pilgrams from across the nations come here seeking their salvation and the Light.  A once in a life-time journey to the Holy City.  Thus the streets are full of different peoples of all races and nationalities.*

[22:33] <.Bynw> *The Knight's escort the adventures to a cathedral of great stature.  The Mother House of the Order of Aman.  The oldest Order within Altair's religious communities and by far the most powerful and wealthiest.  They are given quarters where they can rest and clean up while Cymber is escorted elsewhere.  Her trial being set for the morning.*

[22:46] * +Jenna looks down for a moment "yes I know - it's just hard for me to accept that she's changed so much since we met"

[22:47] <+Jaden> ::shrugs:: "Has she really changed?"
[22:47] <.Bynw> *james doesnt see anyone ... but Chadmyr is heading further down teh hall*

[22:48] <+James> ::decides he might as well go for a walk now that the door is open::

[22:48] <+Jaden> ::smiles slightly:: "Should we go explore this city?"

[22:55] <+James> ::smiles:: "I was tired."
[22:56] <.Bynw> *the city of altair was a planned city.  the streets are orderly and laid out on a grid pattern.  it is like any other city, despite being the Holy City of all Christiandom.

[22:57] <+Jaden> ::tries to find the business district::
[22:57] <+Jenna> ??is there an obvious tavern nearby??
[22:57] <+Chadmyr> "Darn, seems like I can't find a good taverm darn "
[22:58] <.Bynw> *it is hot, an near topical in climate.  the streets are full of travellers and pilgrims of all races ... including Sckoraali*
[22:58] <+Jaden> "Ah, my good dwarf patience."
[22:58] * +Jenna shudders a bit as a Sckoraali passes
[22:58] <.Bynw> *a tavern isnt hard to find in the market area ... nor is it ... most of the crowd is there*
[22:59] <+Jaden> ::moves towards the market area, stopping in the shops as he goes::
[23:00] * +Jenna looks around in the shops also, window shopping mostly
[23:00] <.Bynw> *the shops exsits for most goods from food to clothing, and all the necessities of life*
[23:01] <+James> ::looks for bananas for sale::
[23:01] <.Bynw> !! even a chandler or two !!
[23:02] <+Chadmyr> :: looks casualy at the shops wears but goes for the tavern ::
[23:02] <.Bynw> *there are various fruit merchants ... bananas arent hard to come by*
[23:02] * +Jenna looks wistfully at the chandleries but does not go in
[23:02] <+James> ::buys a bunch of bananas::

[23:03] * +Jenna does stop in a weaponsmith's shop and purchases a nice new dagger
[23:03] <+Jaden> ::goes into a clothing store needing new travelling clothes::
[23:04] <+Jaden> ::then to a fletcher to re-stock his supply of arrows::
[23:04] <.Bynw> !! Chadmyr does find a tavern of course .... "Leo's Pub"
[23:05] * +Jenna follows Jaden and does same with arrows
[23:07] <+James> ::heads to the tavern to join Chad, eating a banana as he walks.::
[23:07] <.Bynw> *jenna and jaden spend about a half hour or so picking out their various wears at the merchant shops*
[23:07] <+Jaden> ::asks to have the items purchased delivered to his quarters then moves to teh tavern with the others::
[23:08] <+Chadmyr> :: Walks in Leo's Pub.  Looks arrond and goes dit at a table and hails the bartender ::

[23:09] <+Jaden> ::gets to the tavern door then changes his mind and continues walking around the market place::

[23:16] <+Chadmyr> "So what are you going to do after the trial."
[23:17] <+James> "I thought we were going to Einar."
[23:17] <+Jenna> "getting out of here for sure"

[23:19] <+Chadmyr> "Well, I am going to Einar James but i will assit at Cymber trials."
[23:20] * +Jenna shudders a bit at the mention of Einar
[23:21] <+Jaden> ::is still out and about::
[23:22] <+Jenna> "Einar is a long way from here Chad"

[23:24] <+Chadmyr> "Bah! A long way! One step at the time Jenna and I'll get back home. About you Jenna what are you going to do  "
[23:25] * +Jenna turns to look at where the voice came from

[23:26] <.Bynw> *there is an elf or half elf (cant tell which exactly) standing there.  he looks to be much older than Jenna ... purhaps middle age or older*

[23:27] <+Chadmyr> :: gets a better look at the elf-half-elf, then keeps looking arround ::
[23:28] <.Bynw> *he has a drink in his hand as if he was on his way elsewhere but got side tracked*

[23:30] <+Jaden> ::enters the tavern and looks around for the others, then seeing the stranger moves closer into earshot and tries to blend in with the crowd::

[23:32] <.Bynw> !! he sits in an empty spot around the table !!

[23:51] <+James> "Yeah, we met you in Paradise"

[23:54] <+Chadmyr> "Last time  you where at paradise selling getways and now here."
[23:55] <.Bynw> *T'Sok*  "I am a wizard of sorts my lady.  And your dwaven friend is quite right yet wrong at the same time.  I am a builder of gates.  Enchanted ones."

[23:57] <+Jenna> "you build portals?"
[23:57] <.Bynw> *T'Sok* "Altair, and the Emperor of Solonda is was open to the idea of a gate being added here.  It is finally competed and I tested it 10 days ago from its twin at Quiette Castle"

[00:01] <+James> "He has a point.  We'd spend more than that to buy passage there, and provisions."
[00:02] <+Jaden> ::takes a seat and continues to listen:: 
[00:03] <+Jenna> "do you have any gates in Capris?" ((to T'sok))
[00:04] <+James> "I thought Capris was in ruins."
[00:04] <+Jaden> :;takes a swig and listens intently::

[00:05] <.Bynw> *T'Sok sits back and looks at Jenna as if she had slapped him in the face*  "Capris IS in ruins."  *he takes a drink of his ale and calls for another*

[00:06] * +Bar_Boy brings another round of ale, and clears away the empty mugs

[00:11] <+James> ::busily enjoying meat and bananas, and doesn't notice Jaden's glance.::
[00:13] <+Jaden> ::yawns:: "well I am a bit tired I think I will return to my room for some sleep."
[00:13] <+Jaden> ::gets up and movs to teh bar door::
[00:13] <.Bynw> *T'Sok*  "Because I care for my reputation.  If you take my service and pay me for it of course.  I transport you through the gate to Einar.  You tell others about it.  They come and use the gate.  Pay me.  I grow richer.  If I cheat you ... I die, most likely at your hand unless I kill you first some how and then have to convince others to use my gates to grow rich.  It works in my best interest to be trustworthy."

[00:14] <+Jaden> ::pauses and looks back with a sly smile on his face, nods and exits the tavern::
