[19:21:55] <.Bynw> *Bishop Nidar* "So your Majesty. What do you think we should do about all of this?"
[19:22:46] <Charissa> "Your Grace, I honestly don't believe it's a "curse" more like magicks set upon by some ambitious tyrants who want Warp Wood."
[19:23:54] <.Bynw> *Bishop* "I am in total agreement. As I was saying. Lord Antilles was murdered."
[19:25:14] <Charissa> "my question to you, Your Grace is this.  Does the Church have any reason to want Warpwood bad enough to kill its rulers, mind you, I'm not saying everyone in the Church, but some rogue elements?"
[19:27:27] <Coch> "Is it this location being magic'd or is it being used on one individual one at a time?"
[19:28:07] <Charissa> "I don't think it's the palace itself.  I checked that out.  Your Grace, would you like to check it also?"
[19:28:30] <Charissa> "I personally think it's one individual at a time or something during the coronation process"
[19:28:38] <.Bynw> *Bishop* "The Church has no reason to control Warp Wood. Lord Antilles was not killed by the Church. Your enemies are not priests."
[19:29:09] <.Bynw> "I have been in this palace long before you have Your Majesty. It is not this place."
[19:29:58] <Charissa> "I didn't think it was the respectable ones, Your Grace, just wondered if there were rogue elements.  Otherwise, I'd have to say it is the Empire"
[19:31:56] <Coch> "Then I would ask how many people around here are capable of this sort of witchery  and have access the the Lords?  I assume this sort of thing requires proximity to the target?"
[19:35:41] <Charissa> "it would, at least to set the spell.  But then, we had many people from many lands here for the coronation."
[19:38:49] <Charissa> "Your Grace, any idea which of the other petty lords might want Warp Wood?"
[19:40:15] <.Bynw> *Bishop* "If your enemy is another Lord of the territories. Expansion is the only reason. If they are land locked then they want a coast. Either one would grant them more land, more resources and a better chance of gaining Imperial patronage."
[19:47:59] <.Bynw> *Ftr Pele* "The Empire is getting very large, very quickly."
[19:48:11] <Coch> "Do you think we could use a bluff to find out the guilty party?  Say for instance we let it be known that we have proof of those involved and are  send for help from the Empire or the Church with hope that the guilty ones slip up?"
[19:50:22] <Charissa> "if His Grace agrees, I'm willing to set the trap"
[19:53:00] <.Bynw> "I would like to know the details of your plan your Majesty." *he says* "You must becareful when setting this trap so it does not spring on yourself."
[19:54:48] <Coch> "I'm sure with both yourself Bishop, and the help of Father Pele we can avoid that error"
[19:55:09] <Charissa> "I agreed on being careful, Your Grace.  I would like to sit down with you and Coch to over what might be the best way to go about this."
[19:56:37] <.Bynw> "Then let us begin" *he gestures to the table*
[19:57:50] <Charissa> ::goes over to the table and sits down at the chair, taking a deep breath and visibly trying to relax and get into a working trance"
[19:57:52] * Coch waits for the Queen to sit before he sits down
[20:04:54] <Coch> "How about this.  First we have a few observers spread about town to note anything or anyone out of place. Next let it be known that we are preparing charges against those that have attacked the Lord's and finally to reinforce the bluff, we have carpenters begin to build a gallows in town"
[20:06:15] <Charissa> "we would need to reinforce that with some deryni warding and strenghtening, wouldn't you say so, Your Grace?"
[20:07:05] <.Bynw> *the bishop thinks for a moment*
[20:15:56] <Coch> "We can further reinforce that saying we have specialists in truth telling and magic on hand and that we know only the ring leaders and will be questioning each citizen in town to see if they were any accomplices.  Then wait a see who tries to leave town and why"
[20:17:59] <Charissa> "we still need to make sure we can feret out whatever magicks whether deryni or sorcery has been used first"
[20:18:14] <Charissa> "keeping all of us alive is our top priority"
[20:19:41] <.Bynw> "I think this plan will work. But one must be causious. Otherwise it will fail and our deaths will be the result."
[20:19:52] <Coch> "Absolutely my Queen, I'm sure with your skill and help from the Bishop and Father Pele, under you direction, we can accomplish this task"
[20:22:19] * Charissa nods to both the Bishop and Coch. "Aye. We have to take utmost care. I do believe that Captain Patrick might be able to provide us useful information. Your Grace, could you have someone bring him back here or "question" him as to exactly what instructions Antilles gave him and what he has since found out?"
[20:30:53] <Charissa> "Your Grace, are there any rogue elements in the Church who might have the capabilities to set a magick such as this?"
[20:34:09] <.Bynw> "My Lady. The Church has many who are capable of such magics. But no motive."
[20:34:40] <Charissa> "I'll take your word for it, Your Grace." ::smiles at the Bishop::
[20:40:42] <Coch> "How should we begin implementing this plan your Majesty?"
[20:44:51] <Charissa> "First thing I think we should find out is what Captain Patrick's exact orders are and what he has or has not accomplished in Antilles' name"
[20:46:09] <.Bynw> *Bishop* "We wont know that until he returns. There is no counting on where he is just now"
[20:48:18] <Coch> "Should we go after him?  The reason I ask is because we might run the risk of him being silenced if we don't"
[20:50:29] <Charissa> "I think we should go after him"
[20:51:47] <Charissa> "or at least track him down and talk to him"
[20:52:58] <Coch> "Do you want to send our agents or do you want this done personally your Majesty?"
[20:54:05] <Charissa> "I can't leave here and the others are still searching through the swamps...I would prefer it if His Grace could help us out with trying to locate Capt. Patrick"
[20:54:56] <.Bynw> *Bishop* "I can make some descrete inquires within the Church."
[20:55:19] <Charissa> "Thank you, Your Grace."
[21:12:57] <.Bynw> *the bishop bows at the neck* "Father Pele. Return to the cathedral. I shall join you there shortly"
[21:22:13] <Charissa> "then I shall leave you to see what you can find out Your Grace.  Thank you for your help in this."
[21:22:52] <.Bynw> *The bishop stands* "I hope to have information for you within a day"
[21:23:34] <Charissa> "thank you Your Grace" ::stand up also and smiles::
[21:29:56] * Coch stands and bows to both the Bishop and Father Pele
