All character classes receive a defense adjustment. This is a bonus to the character's AC. It does not stack with armor bonuses. It is in fact negated entirely if armor is worn.

Any class that is not listed or does not have a defense adjustment in the class features please use the following guideline to determine the defense adjustment:
If the class has NO armor proficiency use GROUP A
If the class has only light armor proficiency use GROUP B
If the class has light and medium armor proficiency use GROUP C
If the class has light, medium and heavy armor proficiency use GROUP D
If a character is multi-classed. Add the bonuses together and then -2 for each class after the first.
