[20:27:20] * Rus wanders around the area looking at the owlbears and bodies

[20:31:26] <+Daine> ::To Nath:: "We'll just be playing catch up. This.." ::motions to the area and the carnage:: "..can happen anywhere and anytime. Even if we happen to stumble on it and stop it, what then?"

[20:31:42] * Rus gets a thoughtful expression and begins gutting the owlbears and examining the stomach contents

[20:32:50] <~Bynw> *the insides of the owlbears is a foul stench*

[20:33:19] <+Nath> "Rus? What are you doing?"

[20:33:42] <+Daine> ::Looks to Rus then to Nath:: "Nice very subtle. Manners, that's what I'll remember most about your southerners."

[20:34:29] <Rus> "How many were in this vilalge and at the lake? I am just making sure that our Chadwick is not trying to mislead us into assuming that all the folk were eaten."

[20:35:24] * +Nath shrugs. "Rus is a frontiersman. He is ill at ease in civilized surroundings or at court."

[21:04:19] <+Nym_Gibran> ::He nods to Regan, then turns to the others. He raises his voice to be heard:: "I'm afraid I must leave. I don't think I can be much more help here and now."

[21:05:58] <+Nym_Gibran> "I am needed elsewhere."

[21:06:19] <~Bynw> *Ceadda* "I would like to accompany you. I do not trust you and I believe that maybe mutual. I don't want you disappearing with the property of my chieftain. So you may leave the disc hear if you must go alone."

[21:10:45] <+Llanth> "Regan, do you know where your nearest kin are?"

[21:12:37] <+Nym_Gibran> ::He calls to his steed and prepares to ride. He motions Tara to join him. Then turns to Ceadda, his face passive:: "Young Druid, I am completely unconcerned with your demands. Perhaps you mistook my passive nature for submissiveness?"

[21:14:23] <+Nym_Gibran> "Do not take orders from you or your chieftain, and I believe your Captain has warned you to hold your accusations to yourself. I am no common thief to be called to order, nor one of your religions supplicants."

[21:15:22] <+Nym_Gibran> ::His face takes on the hint of something...predatory:: "If I wanted to take the medallion I would have already."

[21:15:44] <+Nym_Gibran> ::Looks to Nath:: "I will return."

[21:16:15] <~Bynw> *Ceadda just stares at Nym*

[21:16:31] <~Bynw> *Tara joins her Master on the back of the tricon*

[21:17:26] <+Nym_Gibran> ::He glances once more at Ceadda, then Iamar surges forward and is gone in a flash of light::

[21:18:15] <~Bynw> *Ceadda* "Arrogant nobility that one."

[21:19:43] * +Llanth snorts.

[21:22:35] <+Daine> ::Spits at the ground in Ceadda's direction and flashes a heated look at him:: "Only when dealing with arrogance."

[21:23:15] <+Llanth> "He is not worth it Daine. Where should we head next?"

[21:25:26] * Rus continues his work as he moves to the next

[21:27:34] <~Bynw> *Ceadda turns to Daine with a smile and walks up right to him, arms reach away* "You teater on the very edge of sanity. I pity you. I have seen men loose their minds in the wilderness. I shall watch over you."

[21:28:05] * +Llanth turns to Ceadda.

[21:28:35] * +Nath nods at Nym's words "I look forward to it Master Nym."

[21:29:28] <~Bynw> *Ceadda ignores the elf and turns back heading to help Rus*

[21:29:38] * +Llanth snaps hi hand out infront of Daine's chest.

[21:30:09] <+Llanth> "Hold friend."

[21:31:13] <+Daine> ::His face turns flame red and he begins to shake, his response comes in his native tongue of Valmari:: "Perhaps you'd care to settle this here and now you filthy animal molesting, tree hugger!"

[21:32:11] <+Llanth> "Daine! He is not worth it."

[21:32:34] * Rus finishes up with t final owlbear and moves around seemingly counting

[21:33:22] <~Bynw> *Taenor, in Valmari* "At least you didnt specify sheep"

[21:33:29] <+Nath> "Ceadda! Rus does not need any help... A better use of your talents is to talk to the vermin in the area see if you can learn anything"

[21:34:28] <~Bynw> "As you wish Captian" *Ceadda goes about looking at the ground and seeing what he can find of the vermin in the barns and out buildings. Ignoring Daine's outburst*

[21:35:10] <+Daine> "Yes talk to VERMIN! You must speak the language. Your well versed being one yourself!"

[21:36:04] * +Llanth turns and stands in front of Daine and grasps him by the shoulders.

[21:36:30] * Knos hand drifts near his pistol

[21:36:46] <+Llanth> "Calm yourself friend, you are not going to accomplish anything here."

[21:36:56] <Knos> "Daine, your friend is right. This will solve nothing."

[21:38:00] <+Daine> ::His face bright red he yells over Llanth with just a glance to him, in Valmari:: "No wonder your tribe lost the battle to Watters, you probably soiled yourself and ran at the sight of him! Coward!"

[21:38:05] * +Nath looks startled as Knos speaks "Aye Daine, your friend and Knos are right."

[21:39:13] <~Bynw> *Ceadda is now out of earshot and even sight as he enters one of the outbuildings looking for vermin*

[21:39:19] <+Daine> ::Breaths heavily, shaking, he sneers at Ceadda and stares into Llanth's eyes trying to calm himself.::

[21:40:41] <+Llanth> ::Speaking quitely:: "Calm. Fill your mind with peace. Still yourself friend."

[21:42:47] <~Bynw> *Regan turns to watches the setting sun* "We could probably ride to the next village a day east of here. They may have records of the symbol as well"

[21:43:14] <+Daine> ::Breathing heavily, he nods at Llanth and closes his eyes. Visibly, he tries to calm himself::

[21:43:21] <+Nath> "Then let us be on our way, if you are done Rus?"

[21:45:33] <Rus> "Aye Captain, I am sorry Regan, but it appears that all the villagers were killed."

[21:45:59] * Rus moves to teh lake and washes himself and his gear thoroughly

[21:46:43] <~Bynw> *Regan sighs ... not knowing what to think or say*

[21:46:58] <~Bynw> *the sun continues to set as darkness draws itself across the lake*

[21:47:26] <~Bynw> *Cedda returns from the barn holding a small mouse in his hands, petting it gently*

[21:47:28] <+Nath> "Well shall we push on Regan?"

[21:47:46] <+Nath> "Ahhh Ceadda, anything?"

[21:48:16] <~Bynw> *Regan shakes his head* "Not this night" *he sits down, his back against a tree* "it can wait until morning"

[21:49:19] * +Nath nods "Well we should fetch our horses and make a campsite... but not here... the stench is unbelievable." glares at Rus

[21:49:49] <~Bynw> *Ceadda* "Well this little gal made it. And she carries her unborn young still. She confirms the story of these monsters destroying the settlement here and ...." *he lowers his voice looking at Regan* "... and killing the humans that were here."

[21:50:08] <+Daine> ::Shoots looks of death towards Ceadda, he speaks in Cana now and seems to be if not calm atleast not homicidal he paces::

[21:51:46] <+Daine> ::mutters under his breath, while shooting looks at Ceadda:: "are they yours. You must be proud."

[21:53:02] <+Daine> ::Raises his voice to normal levels:: "It's not safe to travel at night, not with the possibility of being attacked."

[21:53:28] <+Nath> "I agree. Let us go back to teh horses and find a suitable camp site."

[21:53:39] <+Daine> "We'll have to take a look at these archives tomorrow."

[21:54:24] <+Daine> "Do you think you will find your answers to the medallion there Regan?" ::looks to Regan::
