  [19:17:20] <.Bynw> *Capt Patrick* "Well Lord Antilles ordered me to seek out an alliance with the Adanac Empire." *he begins* "So I travelled overland, by sea and other means to the Imperial Capital in Southwind."
  [19:18:06] * +Seth his eyes narrow and a quick string of Latin words are spoken under his breath, his hands work furiously under the table in complex designs
  [19:18:39] <+Jack> "And how are things in Southwind?"
  [19:19:14] <.Bynw> *Patrick* "My mission was a success. I delivered the papers that Lord Antilles requested to be delivered. The Empire will be sending a representative to speak with us all."

  [19:20:32] <+Jack> "I see.  And when should we expect this representative?"

  [19:25:10] <+Jack> "Good work, Captain.  As far as Lord Antilles, though, the news is bad.  He passed away last week of a suddem illness."
  [19:26:43] * +Coch turning to the Queen and says quietly "With your permission I'll dismiss Capt. Patrick's men"

  [19:27:59] <Charissa> "Aye Coch"
  [19:28:16] <.Bynw> *Bishop Nidar* "Captain Patrick. Father Pele can see to your needs regarding Antilles death."
  [19:29:10] <+Seth> "Who is the represenative to be Capitain?"
  [19:29:26] <+Seth> "And do you have a copy of this paper?"
  [19:30:19] <+Coch> "You men" using his hand to indicate Capt. Patrick's men " are dismissed.  Stay on the palacce grounds in case we need to call you"

  [19:38:42] <+Seth> ::His fist slams on the table hard enough to rattle the goblets near him::
  [19:39:25] <+Charissa> "thank you Captain.  Unfortunately that complicates matters"
  [19:39:51] <+Seth> ::he yells:: "You moron! Get out of my sight Captain, now!"
  [19:40:03] <+Charissa> "Seth, calm down!  It is NOT his fault!"
  [19:40:19] <+Charissa> "I will not tolerate anyone screaming at someone just doing his job!"
  [19:40:21] <+Jack> "Yeah, Patrick just did what he was told."
  [19:40:46] <.Bynw> *The captain looks at the Queen for clarification of Seth's screaming*
  [19:41:18] <+Charissa> "Captain, you are not at fault here, but the news you bring are disturbing"
  [19:41:20] <+Seth> "A captain of the guard is expected to think for himself, not blindly obey! Do you have clue as to what you have done captain?"
  [19:41:39] <+Charissa> "General Antilles did NOT have Our permission to send you on your mission."
  [19:42:23] <+Charissa> "Seth, if Antilles told him that we all agreed, how would he know?"
  [19:42:31] <+Seth> ::Grabs his goblet of wine and smashes it against the wall, splattering wine across the wall as it hits::
  [19:42:49] <+Charissa> "Seth!  ENOUGH!!  Why don't you take a walk?"
  [19:43:25] <+Charissa> "come back when you've calmed down a little"
  [19:43:37] <.Bynw> *Patrick* "What happened to General Antilles?
  [19:43:57] <+Kevin> "Aye. It is bad, but no need to trash the place."
  [19:44:15] <+Charissa> "he passed away from the same curse the King and the Great Lords had"
  [19:44:22] <+Jack> "Antilles got sick.  We think the same sickness the Old Lords came down with."
  [19:44:23] <+Seth> ::his face is now a crimson red, he sighs and seems to force a bit of composure on himself. He then shoots the captain a look of pure hatred:: "I think that is best. I will return shortly..."
  [19:45:08] * +Charissa smiles and says "For now, Captain Patrick, I suggest you avoid Seth as much as possible."
  [19:45:21] <+Seth> ::he sighs and turns to Queen Charissa and offers a small bow:: "Your majesty. Lords."
  [19:45:33] <+Charissa> ::nods to Seth::
  [19:45:36] * +Seth grabs his staff and storms from the grand hall::
  [19:46:35] <+Jack> "Seth is right, though, that we've been dealt a big complication, though I don't find any fault for it in capt Patrick."

  [19:48:08] <.Bynw> *the captain still stands before the Lords* "What happened?"
  [19:48:49] <+Charissa> "Antilles did not discuss your mission with us.  He omitted telling us of your mission."
  [19:49:05] <+Jack> "Let's just say that, as a group, we haven't decided yet that pursuing relations with the Empire is a good idea."
  [19:49:09] <+Charissa> "I found out when I did a death reading on him"
  [19:50:07] <+Coch> "We have an easy out however, we can say Antilles was not himself and not in control of his faculties before his passing when the representative arrives"
  [19:50:36] <+Jack> "However, now that the representative is on the way, we might as well wait and see what the deal is.  Ya never know, we might like it."
  [19:51:02] <.Bynw> *Patrick* "What happened to Lord Antilles?"
  [19:52:36] <+Charissa> "he died of sudden sickness"
  [19:52:54] <+Jack> "Capt Patrick, do you need a break to deal with the situation?  Maybe talk with Father Pele as His Grace suggested?"
  [19:53:08] <+Kevin> "From what I heard of the Empire, I do not think we will."
  [19:54:25] <.Bynw> "Your Majesty. I do not have to truth-read read you to know that what you are stating is not fully the truth. It's enough of the truth. But you are not saying a lot."
  [19:55:10] * +Coch raising his voice "Capt. Patrick do you forget to whom you speak?"
  [19:55:15] <+Charissa> "it was the curse Patrick.  I got the same knot of magic in his reading that I had found in the Old Lords"

  [19:58:36] <+Charissa> "Of course."
  [20:00:08] <+Charissa> "you have our permission to seek out Father Pele"
  [20:01:51] <.Bynw> *the captain nods and turns and leaves the great hall*
  [20:02:46] <+Jack> "Patrick's a good man.  I'd hate to lose him because of Seth's temper."

  [20:03:40] <.Bynw> *Bishop* "But we still have the impending arrival of an Imperial agent. Most likely either an Anadari Knight or a Spectral Magician."
  [20:04:07] <+Charissa> "aye.  That is true Your Grace"
  [20:05:03] <+Jack> "I think an Anadari will give me the straight story, whether I like it or not.  Spectrals I don't really trust, though."
  [20:06:16] <+Kevin> "I have had little experiences with either."
  [20:07:12] <+Charissa> "we will have to strengthen the wards in the areas the envoy is allowed to enter."
  [20:07:29] <+Jack> "You've had more experience than you think, at least with the Anadari."
  [20:08:28] <+Jack> "Because it didn't affect our situation, I haven't brought up the subject of my Order.  I'm Anadari, though not a knight yet."
  [20:08:54] <.Bynw> *Bishop* "I'm guessing that we may have a few days to be ready. But no more and the possibility that we may even have less. Rest assured I do not wish the influence of Adanian politics amongst us. Mariabronn is the only acceptable high temporal authority above Warp Wood, if any." *the bishop states*
  [20:13:00] <+Coch> "Perhaps we should quickly build a gazebo and not let representative in the palace"
  [20:14:03] <+Jack> "An Anadari representative would be both good and bad, as far as I'm concerned.  There'd be some trust there, but I might also be put in a position where he'd give me orders as an Anadari that might conflict with my responsibilities as far as Warp Wood is concerned."
  [20:15:27] <+Charissa> "aye."
  [20:16:55] <.Bynw> *Bishop* "Since the Empire's rebirth, they use the Anadari as Imperial Lordlings. So since we are not yet part of the Empire. The representative will more likely be a Spectral Magician."
  [20:18:49] <+Jack> "Well, the Spectrals sorta creep me out with their secrecy, but I don't really know much about them.  Seth would probably know more, though."

  [20:20:10] <.Bynw> "So again m'Lords. What are we going to do?" *Nidar asks*
  [20:20:21] <+Seth> ::Speaking of the devil seems to bring him, Lord Seth walks back into the great hall::
  [20:20:58] <+Seth> ::Once again he seems in control of himself and reserved, he re-takes his seat and props his staff up near by::
  [20:20:59] <+Charissa> "feeling better Seth?"
  [20:21:42] <+Seth> "Absolutely not your Majesty. I have behaved like a barbarian."
  [20:22:11] <+Seth> "I feel it is my duty to appologize for my behaviour to Captain Patrick."
  [20:23:15] <.Bynw> *Bishop Nidar* "The captain has gone to Father Pele. And he was told how Antilles died."
  [20:23:19] <+Seth> "I must set an example, not behave like a mad bull. I am a lord and a mage after all."
  [20:23:26] <+Charissa> "well do it a bit later.  Right now he's with Father Pele and we need you here in this discussion."
  [20:24:10] <+Jack> "Yeah, Bishop Nidor seems to think the Imperial representative will most likely be a Spectral Magician."
  [20:25:14] <+Kevin> "And we all expect you to know the most of it."
  [20:25:18] <+Seth> ::He takes a drink of a newly poured goblet of wine, but chokes as he hears the word, spectral::
