[19:18:09] <.Bynw> | wayward child tosses toys in a tantrum.

[19:18:12] <.Bynw> | The Queen waits in the safety of the
[19:18:13] <.Bynw> | palace for word of the Adanian Envoy's
[19:18:15] <.Bynw> | arrival while the other Lords are held
[19:18:16] <.Bynw> | up waiting out the storm throught the
[19:18:17] <.Bynw> | capital deciding their next actions.

[19:18:20] <.Bynw> | Lord Seth and his men are leaving the 
[19:18:21] <.Bynw> | tavern to see if they can find the Envoy's
[19:18:23] <.Bynw> | ship in the harbor.

[19:20:02] <.Bynw> *Seth's spell holds as the group exits the tavern and goes out into the storm. The winds and rain limits visibility to just beyond the protective bubble*
[19:21:18] <.Bynw> *Seth follows the instinctive guide of Ryethon*
[19:21:39] <+Ryethon> *looks around* "Well it is certainly dryer than the last time..."
[19:21:57] * +Jack follows Ryethon as well.
[19:22:55] * +Charissa paces in the palace with worry for the safety of the envoy and the other Lords as the storm howls on.
[19:23:01] <+Ryethon> "Jack what do you think the envoy will be like?"
[19:24:08] <+Jack> "Probably pissed from going through this storm."
[19:25:35] <+Ryethon> "Hmm would he think that we had anythign to do with it?"
[19:26:00] <+Jack> "Could be.  We thought he had something to do with it."
[19:26:28] <.Bynw> *Seth* "He will be an arrogant rich boy"
[19:29:02] <+Ryethon> "It seems to me that though he will likely be rich, it is unwise to assume his arrogance."
[19:29:52] <+Jack> "He's probably wondering what to expect from us."
[19:30:29] <+Ryethon> "I belive it would be bad to send someone known for arrogance as an envoy."
[19:30:55] <.Bynw> *Seth* "They will send a Spectral. They are all that way."
[19:31:11] <+Ryethon> "Though obviously not everyone thinks the way I do."
[19:32:30] <.Bynw> *the storm continues to hamper any movement of the unprotected and Lord Seth and his followers are the only ones they can see on the streets*
[19:37:35] <.Bynw> *it takes nearly half an hour to reach the docks ... and fortunately the storm is beginning to break by that time ... it is now a few hours from sunset*
[19:38:59] <.Bynw> *With the storm ending, visibility is returning rapidly*
[19:39:24] * +Ryethon peers out across the water
[19:40:12] <.Bynw> *the harbor is a wreck. there are several ships that are partially sunk ... one that is further up on dry land than it ever should be ... but there is no sign of an Adanian vessel*

[19:41:10] <+Ryethon> "Hmm they are wrecked no doubt, and we will likely be blamed for it."
[19:42:02] <+Jack> *shouts* "Hey, anyone here?  Anyone hurt and need help?"
[19:43:06] <.Bynw> *several of the dock hands and harbor masters are climbing out of the wreckage and from nearby still standing buildings* 
[19:43:12] <.Bynw> "Aye ..." 
[19:44:45] <+Ryethon> *shouts* "Who needs help?"
[19:45:47] <.Bynw> *there are several men injured ... some just bruised others have broken bones 
[19:48:15] <+Ryethon> "Well my lords, nothing to do but put ourselves to work."
[19:48:33] <+Jack> "Indeed."
[19:50:00] <.Bynw> *the dock hands and others are already beginning to work on cleaning up the mess*
[19:50:38] <+Ryethon> "Jack if you don't mind, I think we are going to need some splints here, lets get these wounded treated."
[19:51:08] <+Jack> "Just tell me what you need."
[19:51:46] <+Ryethon> "Pieces of wood about a foot long and strips of cloth."
[19:52:57] <+Jack> "Well, I can get srips of cloth from one of the damaged sails.  And there's wood all over" ::Begins collecting what Ryethon needs::
[19:53:27] <+Ryethon> "Many thanks Jack."
[19:53:37] <.Bynw> *harbor master* "We need to see to the ships. Incase this just a lull before a second wave hits us." *he orders about serveral of the other men to check on the vessels*
[19:54:45] <+Ryethon> *addresses the harbor master* "Sir are there men on those ships?"
[19:55:31] <.Bynw> "there might be. several other ships where swept back out to sea as well." *he says taking out a spy glass and scanning the waters*
[19:58:09] <+Jack> "You don't happen to see an Adanian ship out there, do you?"
[20:00:31] * +Jack arrives back with a load of wood and a sail damaged beyond repair.
[20:00:35] <.Bynw> *harbor master* "There was one earlier ... but it was swept back out to sea."
[20:01:08] <+Ryethon> "There rocks or reef out there?"
[20:01:42] <.Bynw> *harbor master* "No sir. Tis very safe waters, most of the time."
[20:02:11] <+Ryethon> "Small blessings eh?"
[20:05:12] <+Jack> "I've got your supplies.  I gather these are for setting broken bones?"
[20:05:33] <+Ryethon> "Aye."
[20:05:49] * +Ryethon turns back to the harbor master
[20:06:21] <+Ryethon> "Sir we will begin treating the wounded if you can have your men bring them to us
[20:06:27] <+Ryethon> ."
[20:07:37] <.Bynw> *Father Pele and several other priests are seen coming towards the harbor. the junior priests see to anyone who needs or needed last rites and Father Pele stops before Seth and Jack*
[20:08:09] <.Bynw> "My Lords" *he says with a mocking smile* "Your time is wasted here. You have duites elsewhere."
[20:08:44] <+Jack> "We're kinda sorta waiting on the Adanian envoy, Father Pele."
[20:10:10] <.Bynw> "I know you are. And you are waiting in the wrong location. He teleported into the cathedral during the storm. And His Grace took him through the portal to the palace nearly an hour ago. But the storm prevented us from finding you or informing you, until now. *he says*
[20:11:01] <+Jack> "Well, thank you for letting us know.  As soon as we know everyone is okay here, we'll be off then."
[20:11:48] <+Ryethon> "Agreed, there are wounded here. They are more important than an the envoy at the moment."
[20:14:10] * +Ryethon turns to Jack
[20:15:02] <+Ryethon> "Shall we procede to treat the wounded?"
[20:15:20] <+Jack> "Agreed.  Let's do it."
[20:16:03] <.Bynw> *Father Pele and the other priests join in tending to the wounded*
[20:18:51] * +Coch hastily approaches the Lords
[20:20:22] <+Coch> "Jack, Ryethon, and Seth the Queen requires your presence in the Great Hall immediately" he says loudly to ensure he is heard by all present
[20:20:54] * +Ryethon looks to Jack and Seth
[20:21:33] <.Bynw> *Pele* "We can see to the injured. See to your duties."
[20:21:47] <+Ryethon> "Well my lords, it looks as if the priests have it under control. Shall we go?"
[20:22:06] <+Jack> "Dammit, we have wounded here . . . well okay if you got it handled. Pele."
[20:22:12] <+Coch> "Thank you for your assistance Father Pele" 
[20:22:52] <.Bynw> *the father nods* 
[20:23:09] * +Jack dusts himself off a bit. "Well, off to do our thing for Queen and country . . . "
[20:23:26] * +Coch turns has hastily begins walking to the castle
[20:24:12] * +Jack turns quickly to the harbor master. "I'll make sure you get some money to help rebuild the harbor, too."
[20:24:32] * +Jack then follows Coch
[20:24:45] * +Ryethon follows along behind Jack
[20:25:03] <.Bynw> *Seth* "Yes the harbor will be our first priority" *he mumbles under his breath* "unless the tavern is in need of repairs"
[20:25:14] * +Jack chuckles.
[20:25:35] <+Ryethon> "Always thinking about your wine..."
[20:26:45] <.Bynw> *on the way back to the palace, the lords can see the wide spread devestation caused by the storm. and the townsfolk out helping one another to rebuild*
[20:27:06] <+Ryethon> "You know Jack, I will be interested to hear about the condition of the envoy's ship and crew..."
[20:27:07] * +Coch slows as the other Lords reach a place out of hearing range of the townsfolk and says "This envoy is very strange and I don't like leaving him with the Queen"
[20:27:33] <+Jack> "Isn't Kevin there too?"
[20:28:40] <+Coch> "Yes and the Bishop too but a man that can walk thru that storm like it was a sunny day, not getting wet or tossed about concerns me"
[20:29:16] <+Jack> "Well, I'm wet and look like shit, but I'm not ashamed of it."
[20:29:47] <+Jack> "Point taken, though."
[20:30:02] <+Ryethon> "Takes more to walk through the storm onl only will power than it does to use spellcraft."
[20:30:32] <+Coch> "I passed him leaving the church but by the time I returned he and the Bishop were already thru the portal"
[20:31:33] <+Coch> "So I went to the castle, changed clothes, and then the Queen wanted me to bring you back"
[20:34:51] <+Ryethon> "Have you spoke with him?"
[20:35:16] <+Coch> "Just an introduction and then I left to find you"
[20:35:54] <+Jack> "Well, I guess I oughtta change clothes, too."
[20:36:08] <.Bynw> *the walk back to the palace is slow going, due to the debris and the people stopping the lords periodically to be assured that they will be sending aid to them. by the time the Lords reach the palace, night has fallen.
[20:37:15] <+Ryethon> "And not let him know that you spent the day covered in mud and blood tending to your subjects?"
[20:37:35] <+Jack> "Yeah, I thought of that, too."
[20:37:59] * +Coch summons a servant upon entering the castle to have a change of footwear brought from his room before rejoining the Queen in the Great Hall
[20:38:15] <+Jack> "Okay, stop for an introduction like this, then excuse myself to change."
[20:39:34] * +Jack does change boots to keep from tracking mud into the great hall.
[20:40:49] <.Bynw> *the great hall is empty save for servants tending to anyone who may come in during the night hours*
[20:41:18] * +Ryethon has a servant bring him a brush for his boots
[20:41:23] * +Coch asks a servant "Where is the Queen?"
[20:41:25] * +Jack asks one of the servants if the Queen or Kevin is still up with the envoy.
[20:42:35] <.Bynw> *servant* "yes they are in the sitting room with the envoy"
[20:42:55] * +Coch heads to the sitting room to rejoin the Queen and the envoy
[20:43:09] <+Jack> "Thanks." ::Heads to the sitting room::
[20:43:25] * +Ryethon brushes his boots off and follows along
[20:44:34] * +Coch waits for the other Lords at the sitting rooms door so they can enter all together
[20:46:06] * +Ryethon looks around
[20:46:12] <+Ryethon> "Ready my lords?"
[20:46:17] <+Jack> "Ready"
[20:47:07] <+Coch> "Ready"
[20:47:43] <.Bynw> *Seth* "ready"
[20:49:19] * +Coch heads into the sitting room and approaches the Queen
[20:49:55] <+Coch> "I have brought the other Lords as you instructed Queen Charissa" 
[20:50:12] <+Charissa> "Thank you Coch for finding them so quickly."
[20:50:27] <+Charissa> ::turns to the others:: "Glad to see that you are all none worse for the wear"
[20:50:44] <+Jack> "Please excuse the mess.  We were treating the wounded.  None of the blood is mine."
[20:50:53] * +Coch bows to the Queen
[20:50:55] <+Kevin> "Is the damage that bad?"
[20:51:15] <+Ryethon> "Aye, there is much to rebuild."
[20:51:25] <+Jack> "The harbor is messed up big time.  Gonna need money to rebuild."
[20:51:40] <+Charissa> "we will have to make sure it is provided"
[20:52:29] <+Ryethon> "We should look to feeding the people also. I am sure many are without home or food at the moment."
[20:52:45] <+Charissa> "aye"
[20:53:03] <+Charissa> "we most certainly need to take care of the citizens first"
[20:54:23] <.Bynw> *the white magician sits quietly observing the banter between the heads of state*
[20:57:51] * +Coch looks over the white magician very carefully and asks "Lord Fulton may I ask how walked in that storm without getting wet or tossed about?"
