[06:47] <%jlcsusara> The party succeeds in foiling a ninja ambush on a local daimyo's caravan. Interrogation of the prisoner yeilds a badge of the Frolicking Fish, the crest of a notorious robber baron samurai. His castle is 3 days downstream (east) of the Raging River.
[06:47] <%jlcsusara> In gratitude for the assistance, the party gains Good Honor! The Daimyo awards the party with a jade medallion, a gift of great value and noted to have magical powers. More importantly, it allows unrestricted passage within the Empire and audience with the Emperor himself! They were also given an imperial pass, allowing them to cross the bridge guarded by the Daimyo's rear guards ashigaru.

He can whip his spear into a ready position at a moment's notice. What few people know is that his teacher was an old woman (taught him dancing, first) who rose to the exhaulted ranks of Lieutenant (or equivalent) in an Imperial Court. She gave him a book before he died which proclaimed her great love for another soldier in the Imperial Guard. His great quest is to bury this book with the soldier of her great love as soon as he finds his grave.
