Nym_Gibran

In the year 456 NE (10,245 AD) Nym Gibran appeared out of an obscure corner of the Paradisian Empire in the King's court of Adan. He proclaimed to be the last surviving member of the line of Tennes; the only child of a Florin commander and the exiled daughter of the deceased Lord of Tennes. King Turner Darion honored Nym's request and granted him the hereditary title Earl of Tennes. From the beginning the Lord Nym's rule has been colorful, and controversial leading many to question the Kings decision on that day. Lord Gibran's is the only religiously neutral land in Adanac and encourages the migration of Druids of the pagan faiths; Nym himself is known to be a member of the pagan belief of "The Order of Anadari Knights". The holy church's policy on paganism and specifically the Anadari Knights is well known and many whisper that a confrontation between the two is inevitable. Abbot Elius of the order of Amon has openly denounced Lord Nym's actions. Nym himself is considered to be openly brash and uncivilized in nature by most of the King's court, a pure ruffian. Oddly Lord Nym retains the dominatingly popular support of the people within his lands and a military force that is known for it's high level of training, loyalty, and effectiveness.

In the following years Lord Nym has been instrumental in bringing peace between the newly penned Adanac empire and the Republic of Flora, eventually helping to bring Flora to sign the Imperial Charter and join the Empire. In response Nym has assumed the duel title of Baron de Kes of Flora as well has Earl of Tennes in Adan, as well as being named Anadari Knight itinerant for the Empire.

Most recently Nym has reinstated an age old Anadari tradition by announcing his intentions to to the Anadari council to found an Anadari house of his own by the name of "The Knights of the Horizon". He has taken several promising students and disappeared to parts unknown to train them as members of these so called Horizon Knights.

Even though, or perhaps because of Lord Gibran's controversial nature he has many connections within Adan. Most Notable of Nym's friends is the Earl of Kirsh Lord Benedict, the Young Lord Dennis Idge of Minnae, Mikael Mclann leader of the druids within Adanac, the Countess of Westfallen Vinedea Devenshire-Morris, Captain Taruk of Westfallen and member of the king's rangers, Master Soltaari, Arch Druid Camidus, and finally his Majesty Turner Darion D'Castle King of Adanac seems to find pleasure in Nym's rebellious exploits.

Nym appears to be in his early thirties in age. He stands tall at six foot and two inches, though he is whip-cord lean in build lending him a lanky stature. Short-cropped black hair graying slightly at the temples frames his piercing bright blue eyes. He bears a scar around his neck from a rope that he remains self conscious of, and tight lipped about. His mixed heritage is evident in a slight Florintine cast to his features and the hint of an accent in his speech. Despite what most would consider unremarkable features he presents an imposing presence that draws the eye to him. He is known for his fondness of the wilds and is often away on extended hunting expeditions. Nym forgoes fineries in his clothing and is most often seen in garb suited for a woodsman or hunter. He dresses in green, brown and black leathers from head to toe with a poncho style cloak of heavy wool and leather on the shoulders, trim, and hood.
